Specifically designed for lowers running the Super Safety or crossbolt safety. The Safety Skirt system reduces the likelihood of accidentally disengaging the crossbolt from the safe position when these safeties are installed. This is especially helpful when slinging the rifle as a right-handed user. Not only does this add function to your crossbolt lower, but it covers most factory selector markings for a cleaner look.
The standard version is a lower temperature material and will work great as a range gun (it has a glossier, smoother finish). The carbon fiber reinforced version is a higher engineering grade material (has a textured finish). The carbon fiber reinforced version is recommended for hotter climates such as vehicle interiors in the summer.
Installs by removing the grip and sandwiching the Safety Skirt between the bottom of the lower and top of the grip as pictured. NO FIREARMS OR PARTS ARE OFFERED FOR SALE. This is a safety accessory. As manufacturers vary, this may require minor fitting.
